"Mike Meines was the most entertaining, enlightening speaker I've ever listened to -- hilarious on top of everything else.  I left yesterday with a big smile on my face and a lot of good memories and wisdom to help me through those tough times sorting through relationship issues whether it be at home or on the job."

I thought our speaker was wonderful last year (which he was) but I truly couldn't stop laughing at Mr. Meines' eventful life and found his presentation offered a different perspective on customer service than what I have heard in the past.

I have had the pleasure of hearing Mike Meines’ presentation on Customer Relations several times since 1998. Whether presenting to an audience of more than 500 people at a Regional TRICARE Conference, in the spring of 2001, or in front of a small group of hospital employees in Worland, Wyoming, May 2007, Mike delivers a simple, yet powerful message in a highly entertaining style. I invited Mike to speak to the hospital employees from Banner Health Washakie Medical Center in Worland and the feedback I received was phenomenal. Numerous employees thanked me for inviting Mike to speak and told me how much they enjoyed his presentation. It has been more than a week since Mike was here and the hospital is still abuzz from his visit. I have suggested to our Regional and Corporate offices that Mike would be an excellent speaker for our company and, I would recommend him to anyone who wants to infuse their staff with some “good old fashioned” customer service skills and attitude. Lance Maley, CEO, Banner Health Washakie Medical Center.

Good Morning Carole and Mike,

I wanted to thank you again for your willingness to participate in our conference. You were a success! The feedback in general from the attendees was "great", "wow" and "I should have known that". Mike, your stories were great.

I have not had the opportunity to review all the written critiques. I plan to have that finished by next week at which time I will share with you know their comments.

Again, many thanks, have a good weekend.

Enjoyed your "talk" at our recent WIIMT conference in Spokane. One of the best I have been to in my 60 years. As an educator for 30 years I know a good teacher when I hear and see one.

Thanks for your time I hope that I have a chance to hear you again.

Thank you both. We so enjoyed your talk and visit. Many came away inspired and renewed. With our new Director, in Mara, and the new Manager we just hired, we are all anticipating fresh, new ideas, and improved customer relations ahead! I can't wait to hear another of your talks!! Thanks for your time and the slides.

Mr. Meines,

I just wanted to thank you for your uplifting presentation given at Kimbrough Ambulatory Care center. I appreciated your time and the genuine care you portrayed on this topic. I recognized and appreciated your passion and commitment on this issue. I pray God's blessings for you and your wonderful wife.

Sincerely,
Marceea D. Knox

I was privileged to be at IMT Training last week in Spokane where I got to listen to you. I thoroughly enjoyed your talk. You had us all riveted and attentive. Many of us were talking that evening about how we kept looking at our watches, not to see when it was going to be over, but hoping we had more time to listen to you. I learned a lot about customer service for work, but most importantly for myself and personal life. I have started to look at things differently and I wanted to thank you for what you do. And, you are so enjoyable to listen to, you are completely hilarious and kind hearted.

Thank you.

Mike,

I hope you have made it safely back to the west coast from your visit to Boston. I wanted to drop you an email to thank you for your most enjoyable and inspiring presentation yesterday. I have received many positive comments from staff and your combination of humor and insight helped to convey a strong message. Your talk supports our aspiration to be the best at what we do and for the right reasons. Thanks again for making the trip.

Dear Mr. Meines,

I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your class this
morning. I felt like I was attending a comedy show as well as learning a
great deal! If more people took the same approach to teaching, we would
have a more understanding world. People would want to learn because you
made the class enjoyable as well as interesting. I did not hear one
negative comment regarding the 2 hour class. The time flew by. I wouldn't
have minded if the class was longer and I don't think anyone else would
have either. My co-worker and friend who was sitting beside me has trouble sitting still for long periods of time and it didn't bother her in the
least!!

Again, thank you for such an uplifting class. I have already tried some of
your methods and they really do work! Someone was less than nice to me
when I got back and I turned the whole situation into a positive and I felt
so much better (and yes, I did it for me)!

My regards,

Ann Bowler

Hello Mr. Meines,

I wanted to add my two cents in heartfelt thanks for your presentation last week. Michael and I have been evaluating the multiple " effective" ways that the topic of Customer satisfaction and the issue of how "I" impact the conversations and the choices we have to act or react to our customers when issues arise. It was a joy meeting you and your wife.

Would you mind sharing your power point slides with me? I would like to use them as a tool to continue my leadership development plans for my supervisory/managerial staff . Again thank you. The word on the "street" has it, that we would recommend your presenting at future leadership enrichment programs for the hospital and health center.

Mike,

As always your presentation was a tremendous success. I will share our
experience via the commander at our next regional teleconference next week. The entire staff is talking about the session they attended and are extremely positive - we look like geniuses thanks to you.
Take care,

Clint

Hi Mike,

I just went to the "mandatory" meeting yesterday that you presented. I just want to tell you that I really liked what you had to say and really thought you had such a 100% out of the box approach that I just loved. I thought it was probably one of the most effective presentations that I have ever attended. We really don't need 1 million handouts and slides to get the point across. I think some people though do like that sort of thing, but, does it really "do" anything. I thought it was particularly effective because you were "real" something that is very lacking in this culture I think. I think that your "less is more" approach works. It seems to be your approach anyway. So, kudos to you. I was very impressed and had to let you know. I would listen to you all day long. :)

Thanks,
Michele Schoneman, RN

Thanks to you and Carole both. You were as good as I had remembered and I would love to have you back. Everyone who attended is thanking me as if I created you myself. : )

Out of all the positive feedback I have received so far the one that stands out the most was "the speaker was totally sexy - what do those librarians know?" Oh wait, that was mine. : )

You were great fun and yet still delivered a message. Thanks.

My red light is on - I must be on the air.

Carole and Mike,

Thank you very much for your presentation to our 2006 VIN inspectors in-service. The only problem I found in the ranked evaluations was that several of the people scored you higher than the scale. That should be the first clue that you were very well received.

I was also asked by several people if you would be able to come back next year or the following years. I explained that I would check and see if you have a variety of subjects so we could justify the repeat presentations. I would also invite you to stop by and visit any one of our VIN lanes to see our people at work. Thank you so much again. Your humor combined with a good solid subject made the training very worthwhile. Please know you have friends in the WSP and if there is anything we can do for you, please let us know. I have forwarded the invoice for payment and hope it will be handled swiftly. Thank you again and have a great day.

Linda and Michael, I just wanted to pass on to you how much I enjoyed the presentation “I Contact, It’s all about you”!

Michael you give one of the best presentations that I have ever attended. I really appreciate how you can intertwine information with anecdotes. It’s all information we already know (as you pointed out) but it is good to hear it presented in one place and with such enthusiasm.

Linda, extend my thanks to the training department for arranging this excellent presentation!

Michael, thanks for the very enjoyable presentation!

I wanted to comment that the instructor wasn’t sexy enough but I want Michael to focus on the positive comments…

Hi Michael. It was a pleasure meeting both you and Carole. I was pretty confident the staff here would enjoy your presentation as much as I did at the Partner's in Emergency Preparedness Conference two years ago. And I enjoyed sharing their morning and afternoon with them, to see and hear them laugh while also getting a good message.

I have heard lots of unofficial feedback from staff here, about how much they enjoyed the presentation, topic, delivery, message, everything. I've even heard some folks say yesterday morning about how they were choosing to be happy and have a better attitude!

I have talked briefly with someone in our Training Department regarding the possibility of offering your presentation to other areas in the Agency. Not sure how this all works, so it's a discussion that still has to go into more detail. I certainly support it. I will be back in contact as discussions continue. (Also, I'm so happy that you and Denise were able to reconnect - how great is that!)

Here's a couple of emails I received:
I'm not sure if you are the person I should thank or not, but I just wanted you to say a BIG THANK YOU for the awesome presentation yesterday. Mike Meines is an outstanding speaker and very motivating. I've never had better customer service training!
Thanks for the excellent safety meeting and special speaker, Mr. Meines.
Would like to hear him speak every day!

Hello Michael,

We at Evergreen are the grateful ones. It was such a pleasure for our staff to have the opportunity to listen to your presentation.
We had so much great feedback. Just walking through our area, I would get stopped and was thanked for bring you to Evergreen. There was a definite elevated atmosphere among our staff and the question most of them had was "when is he coming back?". Our hopes for your return would be during the first quarter of next year.

Thank you,
Mary Krzeszowski
